Your decision on who to vote for in the Republican primary will determine which of our candidates face the Democratic Party opposition this fall. The Buncombe County Republican Party trusts our conservative voters to make the best choices and we will work hard to elect the candidates that you choose. Please visit our 2010 Candidates page in order to learn about each candidate.
Thanks to all the Buncombe Republicans who attended the 11th District Republican convention yesterday. Buncombe had the largest delegation with 44 delegates attending. Counties were much better represented this year than in the recent past. There is a definite change in the air, and a new energy in the Republican Party.
Our next stop will be the NCGOP Convention June 4-6 in Winston-Salem, with most of the business proceedings happening on Saturday June 5. We will post more details when we have them, but please keep that weekend free. Anyone who was a delegate at our Buncombe County Republican Convention may attend the State Convention as a delegate as well.
My Fellow Republicans,
As you know, President Obama is coming to Asheville this weekend. Trust me when I tell you that his visit is not a vacation, but an expensive political statement. The BCGOP will not leave it unanswered.
Team BCGOP has produced a TV ad that we want to run on the 6:00 PM WLOS news this Saturday. This newscast will be buzzing about where Obama has been in Asheville and our ad will run right in the middle of it.
WLOS will also cover this ad as a news story which will lead right into our “Outreach Program” in the school districts.
It has 3 teens asking the President questions and then promotes our Outreach Program that begins May 6th.
We need $800.00 to run this ad and I am asking if you would contribute to the expense.
Timing is of the essence as I have to give WLOS the $800.00 and the ad by noon Friday to get it on Saturday.
This ad will show Buncombe County conservatives that we are fighting for them and the future of our children.
Please look at the 30 sec. ad here:

If you can contribute any amount of funds, please contact me directly at 828-216-0147 or donate online immediately by clicking this link.
May God Bless You,

Come dressed as you are.
To the Citizens of Buncombe County,
Leaders of the Democrat Party have said for years that they are the “party of the people”. They claim to care about the working class and say they will bring jobs.
As Asheville Democrat City Councilman Cecil Bothwell pushes for a resolution to make Asheville a “sanctuary city” for illegal immigrants, ask yourself if the Buncombe County Democrat Party is looking out for you.
In the next few days, watch the Buncombe County Democrat Party leadership very carefully. See how many of it’s leaders like Senator Martin Nesbitt, David Gantt, Susan Fisher, Sheriff Van Duncan, Heath Shuler and the Asheville City Council speak out against their friend Cecil Bothwell.
Advertising that Asheville is a “sanctuary” for illegal immigrants will impact all of Western North Carolina. Not only will more jobs be lost in Buncombe County but the surrounding counties as well. It will increase drug trafficking, crime, and hospitals will overflow with illegal’s seeking free health care at the cost of the tax payers high insurance premiums.
So how do you put a stop to this?
Don’t call all these Politicians personally. Instead, go straight to the source. Go to where their money flows from. Make one phone call to the Buncombe County Democrat Headquarters at (828) 274-4482. Ask the volunteer that answers the phone if they care about your job and patch you through to their party Chairman. Tell their chairman their so called “party of the people” better listen to the people or their leaders will be out of a job come November!
I urge all Buncombe County citizens to check out the Buncombe County Republican Party and learn how we are fighting for you!
Remember, local Democrat leaders always tell you they care about the culture of our mountain heritage. We must stop these professional liars before we are all forced to speak a foreign language.
Sincerely,
Chad Nesbitt
Chairman
Buncombe County Republican Party
