Thursday, April 24, 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., The Latte' Republicans will meet at "Caffiend" 24 Hour Coffee/Espresso, 120 Merrimon Avenue, Asheville.

The Republican Party's 11th District Annual Convention will be held at Haywood Community College on Saturday, April 26, 2008. Registration will begin at 11:00 a.m. The Convention will begin promptly at Noon. There will be opportunities for candidates to speak. The business of the Convention is to elect three (3) delegates and three (3) alternates to the Republican National Convention and one (1) representative as our Presidential Elector. The Debate between all candidates filed for the 11th Congressional Seat will begin at approximately 2:00 p.m. As there will be no food served, please plan to eat before the convention or after the debate. Monday, April 28, 6:00 to eat, 6:30 p.m. to meet, the Buncombe County Executive Committee will meet at Ryan's Restaurant on Brevard Road near Biltmore Square Mall.

Thursday, May 1, 6:00 p.m. to eat, 6:30 p.m. to meet, The Blue Ridge Republican Women's Club will meet at the Corner Stone Restaurant on Tunnel Road in Asheville.

Thursday, May 1, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at the YMI Cultural Center in Asheville, all five Republican candidates for Governor will participate in the last debate before the primary election.

Saturday, May 3, a Jessica's Law Rally in Ferguson Auditorium of Laurel Building of AB-Tech in Ashville. Details TBA.

Buncombe County Republican Men's Club -- second Saturday of each month at Corner Stone Restaurant at 7:30 a.m. to order breakfast, 7:45 a.m. for the program, George Keller, President.

Buncombe County Republican ACTION Club at Ryan's Restaurant at Biltmore Square Mall the third Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m. to order dinner, 6:30 p.m. for the meeting, Kathie Lack, President.
