Congratulations to Bill Russell on his winning a seat on the Asheville City Council! The final count (at the end of the canvass on Friday, Nov 16) gives Russel a 68 vote lead over Freeborn. Many thanks to those who called voters to remind then to vote, who put up signs, who worked in the polls, and who braved a really cold day to remind voters of our important candidate. Note that the margin of this victory was just about 2 voters per precinct!
