| Details | Reception at 5:30, dinner at 7:00. This is the largest sit down political dinner in North Carolina. Former Congressman Charles Taylor and many supporters and workers are putting their time and effort into this festive event. |
Tables are set for ten and the cost of the dinner is $50.00 per person. The cost for the reception and dinner is $125.00 per person. Preference for seating will be given to those who put together tables. As in the past, parking will be available at First Baptist Church of Asheville on Charlotte Street with free shuttle service to the Grove Park Inn. Please make checks out to Mountain Leadership PAC. We cannot accept checks from corporations. As in years past, in order to guarantee your seat or table at the dinner, please include your payment with your reservation. We must confirm a number prior to the event at the Grove Park Inn. We will have assigned seating for the 7:00 dinner. Please check the program to find your table. We are going to have our Commissioner of Agriculture, Steve Troxler, Commissioner of Labor Cherie Berry, as well as gubernatorial candidate Mayor of Charlotte, Pat McCrory and his primary opponent State Senator Fred Smith, both ran an outstanding campaign and are a credit to the Republican Party and the State of North Carolina. We are also thrilled that North Carolina Republican State Chairman Linda Daves will be able to join us. These statewide candidates as well as other Congressmen, local candidates and officials will host a reception at 5:30 in the Wilson Suite with a photo-op following the reception in the Taft Suite. The dinner will begin at 7:00 in the Grand Ballroom located in the Vanderbilt Wing of the Grove Park Inn and Spa. As a special treat Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee will address the dinner by live feed from the New York studio where he hosts his popular Saturday night television show. |
